6 vintage Lady Clare melamine small placemats featuring artwork by Mads Stage, based on his pastel watercolors.
Designs depict scenery and popular tourist destinations in London, England. Includes an old receipt in the box dated May 31, 1979. Measures approximately 8" x 9.25". Each has a Lady Clare sticker on the green felt backing.
Images include St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, The Albert Memorial and Albert Hall, Westminster Bridge and Houses of Parliament, and Tower Bridge.
IMPERFECTIONS: The box is stained and in rough shape. Older tape is peeling. The back green felt has staining and wear. Cannot place heated ovenware directly onto them. Slight staining and scratching throughout. Sold as-is.
