Original pair of high-quality 1944 vintage WWII American Optical "True Color" or "Cool Ray" Aviator Sunglasses.
Frames believed to be 12K gold-filled with original brow bar. Belonged to a B-17 pilot in WWII.
Measures 5 3/4" across front and lenses are 2" tall. Wrap-style arms are 4 1/2" long. Condition: Good overall. Frame parts are very strong with some mild tarnished patina. Lenses are very good, no issues. NO BOX OR STORAGE CASE. Untested. As-is. Ideal for WWII memorabilia collectors. Optimized for Google & Mercari search.
